Robotics Mentoring Program

Year 10 Ignite students have been participating in the Robotics Mentoring Program offered by UniSA (University of South Australia).

Students have completed construction of the e-racer and are now using assembly language to program the racer. The e-racer can be programmed to complete a series of tasks such as following a set route and avoiding obstacles.

Second and third year undergraduate students from UniSA have been mentoring the students and when programming is complete students will be offered the opportunity to take part in the robotics competition, which is open to participating schools and is organised by UniSA.
