How do I know if my child is gifted?
Gifted students possess to an outstanding degree a demonstrated
ability or potential in one or more of the following areas :
• General intelligence
• Specific academic areas
• Visual and performing arts
• Psychomotor ability
• Leadership
• Creative thinking
• Interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
Has your child been psychologically tested? You could have your
child tested by a private psychologist or DECS guidance officer
If yes, you should have a report that states how your child performed
and this should give an indication of your child’s IQ

Distinction, Distinction or Prizes may be indicators of giftedness
